Ryan Beiser, California family law attorney

Your reviewing attorney

Hi, I’m Ryan Beiser

I’m a California family law attorney based in Irvine, with more than a decade in practice. My work includes custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property and debt division, and domestic violence restraining orders.

You’ve done the legwork. I’ll read what you’ve prepared, explain what I would change and why, and quote any additional help separately. Fair billing and clear communication matter to me.

Do the groundwork yourself

Save on the draft.
Pay for the judgment.

AI can be useful for organizing your thoughts and getting a first draft onto the page. That can be a smart place to start.

It can also make confident mistakes, overlook an issue, or produce language that does not fit your situation. A lawyer’s review adds legal training and experience to the work you’ve already done.

That is the service here: a focused look at your papers, the issues they raise, and the changes to consider within an agreed scope.

Before you file or sign

Send a brief description of your papers and any deadline. No documents yet.

  2. Get a quote by email.

We confirm the scope and fee in writing and arrange for you to share your documents.

A few useful answers

Before you
reach out.

How much does it cost?
The fee depends on your paperwork and the help you want. You’ll receive a flat-fee quote by email before work begins. Additional services are quoted separately, and work starts only after we agree in writing.
Can you review a draft made with AI?
Yes. You can start with papers prepared using AI, self-help resources, or your own writing. You do not need to start over just to ask for a review.
Why add a lawyer’s review?
AI can help you revise and organize, but it can repeat an error or miss something important. A focused legal review adds a lawyer’s judgment about your papers and the issues within the agreed scope.
Does review include rewriting, filing or the whole case?
No. Document review covers the work we agree on. Redrafting, filing, coaching and court appearances are included only if expressly agreed. Limited-scope help does not mean representation for your entire case.
What if I have a deadline or hearing?
Include the date in your request. Availability must be confirmed, and sending an inquiry does not mean a deadline or matter has been accepted. Do not wait for a reply to take necessary action.
Does a review guarantee court acceptance or a result?
No. A review can identify issues and suggest changes, but it cannot guarantee court acceptance, an outcome, or that every issue will be found. The work is limited to the scope we agree on.
